Hernia Self-Assessment

According to the National Center for Health Statistics, approximately five million people suffer from hernias within the United States. A hernia is defined as an abnormal protrusion, or bulging out, of part of an organ through the tissues that normally hold the organ in place. Most people suffering from hernias have a similar set of signs and symptoms. To help you determine if your symptoms suggest that you have a hernia, take our free self-questionnaire and a health care professional will contact you.

Please note, this self-assessment should not substitute a medical checkup or consultation with a physician or surgeon. Only a physician, surgeon or other qualified health care provider can accurately diagnose and treat a hernia.
