Dinhkim Le, MD

Dr. Le received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah, where he studied medical technology and graduated summa cum laude.

 

Upon completing his undergraduate education, Dr. Le attended the University of Utah School of Medicine. He was honored as the best medical student in surgery and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. During his time in medical school, he worked as a clinical microbiologist at the ARUP Microbiology Lab, earning his MD in May 2004.

 

Dr. Le completed his residency within the University of Utah General Surgery Program, and has conducted research on post-operative antibiotic usage in non-perforated appendicitis. Dr. Le provides a wide variety of surgical services, and is skilled in laparoscopic procedures.

 

Dr. Le is fluent in Vietnamese, including Vietnamese medical terminology.

Jane M. Porretta, MD, FACS

Jane M. Porretta, MD received her medical degree in 1989 from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She then moved to Salt Lake City where she completed an internship in General Surgery at the University of Utah in 1990. Following her internship, she stayed on at the University of Utah and completed a residency in General Surgery in 1994. In her final year she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Poretta specializes in breast care needs and is the lead surgeon and founder of the Jordan Valley Women’s Breast Care Center. She is board-certified in General Surgery.

Alfonso Preciado, MD, FACS

Alfonso Preciado, MD, FACS received his medical degree from the University of Panama in 1989. After fulfilling his internship and social service in Panama, Dr. Preciado continued his training in General Surgery at The Western Pennsylvania hospital in Pittsburgh from 1992 to 1998. He served as Chief Resident at Western Pennsylvania hospital from 1997 to 1998, and then went on to complete a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, from 1998 to 1999. Dr. Preciado is board-certified in General Surgery.

Tracy R. Syddall, PA-C

Tracy R. Syddall is a Certified Physician Assistant at Jordan Valley Surgical Specialists with a varied background including family practice and urgent care.

 

Sydall received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Physician Assistant degrees at the University of Nebraska. He currently serves in the United States Army as an Aeromedical Physician Assistant and has had experience as an Interservice PA in the U.S. military.

 

Sydall’s interests lie in family practice, general surgery, and emergency medicine. He has been a firefighter for the West Valley City Fire Department and a paramedic for the SWAT team, also in West Valley City. Additionally, Sydall maintains certification in the following areas:

  • State of Utah Fire I & II Certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certified
